Why didn nagato revive yahiko

All we know is that Obito would die. That could be due to a lacking Chakra pool. We all know that Uzumaki's have a much superior life force and chakra pool than anyone else. Its just a thought. When Nagato did learn the jutsu, Tobi told him he cannot revive those who died long ago so he wouldn't waste the jutsu on Yahiko or anyone else aside from Madara. It leads me to question as to why Nagato didn't bring Yahiko back to life. Surely he could do it, he can bring humans back to life as well as dead paths.
